The proper environment for the preservation and maturing of fine wines requires a delicate balance of temperature and humidity control. The WhisperKOOL System is specifically designed to do just that creating an environment for you to enjoy wine-collecting for years to come.

Wine collectors agree that the ideal temperature for maturing fine wines is 55F -to-57F and that the humidity should be carefully balanced within a range of 50-to-70%. Properly balanced humidity plays the important role of keeping corks moist which prevents oxidation from damaging wines.

WhisperKOOL incorporates an efficient environmental stabilization control system in a compact, easy to install, self-contained unit. It is built in a variety of sizes for wine cellars ranging from 300-to-2000 cubic feet.

The unique difference between the WhisperKOOL system and traditional air conditioning units is the maintenance of well-conditioned humidity. Traditional air conditioning units are designed to cool quickly. As a result, humidity is removed leaving the air dehydrated.

Humidity is controlled by cooling a cellar slowly. The WhisperKOOL is engineered to maintain humidity between 50-and-70%. Based on the design, no special controls are required for controlling humidity.
